Extend Prismatic's connector library

Your team uses them to build integrations
Custom connectors behave just like built-in ones. They're reusable, and anyone can use them to build integrations:
- Developers building code-first integrations
- Non-devs using the low-code integration designer
- Customers using the embedded workflow builder

You gain a competitive advantage
Build connectors for niche or industry-specific apps your competitors can't access. Private to your org, tailored to your customers, giving you differentiation they can't replicate.
Common questions
Prismatic provides 190+ built-in connectors to popular apps and services across categories like CRMs, ERPs, marketing platforms, cloud storage, databases, and more. Each connector includes fully-managed OAuth and authentication, so you don't have to build or maintain auth flows.
Build your own connector using the same SDK we use internally. The Custom Connector SDK gives you the same capabilities as our built-in connectors, including managed authentication, reusability across integrations, and the ability to use them via code-first integrations, low-code designer, or your embedded workflow builder. You can also use generic HTTP, SOAP, or GraphQL connectors to interact with any API.
Yes. Custom connectors you build are private to your organization by default. This lets you build connectors for proprietary systems, niche industry apps, or competitive differentiators that you don't want to share. Only your team and your customers can access them.
No. Non-developers can use built-in and custom connectors through Prismatic's low-code integration designer without writing code. Developers can use the same connectors in code-first integrations for more complex scenarios. The same connector works across both approaches.
Authentication is fully managed by Prismatic. For built-in connectors, OAuth flows and credential management are handled automatically. For custom connectors, you define the auth method once in the SDK (OAuth 2.0, API key, basic auth, etc.), and Prismatic manages the credentials, token refresh, and customer-specific configurations.
Yes. Both built-in and custom connectors are available in the embedded workflow builder, letting your customers build their own workflows and automations using the connectors you've configured. You control which connectors are available to each customer.
In Prismatic, "connector" and "component" are often used interchangeably. Components are reusable code that accomplish specific tasks. Most components are app connectors (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), but some are utility functions (math, data transformation) or logic helpers (loops, conditionals). All are built using the same SDK and work the same way in integrations.
Submit a connector request and tell us about the app and the integration you want to build. We prioritize requests based on customer demand and add new connectors regularly. While you're waiting, you can build a custom connector using our SDK or use generic HTTP/SOAP/GraphQL connectors to interact with the API.
